We’re honored to be featured in The Valley Breeze for our work bringing The Unicycling Unicorn to life.
The article highlights our journey as a New England-based filmmaking team and dives into the story of Jamey Mossengren, a street performer chasing a world record on a towering 44-foot unicycle.
Excerpt:
Amanda described the entire process as “boots on the ground,” with the couple doing nearly everything themselves. When the pair couldn’t be with Mossengren, they gave him cameras so he could continue chronicling his personal and professional experiences.
“That was one of my favorite parts, traveling around to random places we never would’ve gone to otherwise,” said Amanda. “From the middle of the desert in Nevada to a tiny quirky town in Indiana, every place we went was off the beaten path, and so unique and special.”
A large portion of time was spent in Kokomo, Indiana, where they met Tom Miller, an eccentric long-time unicycle maker. Miller and Mossengren worked together to craft a 44-foot tall unicycle, which Mossengren would need in order to make unicycling history.
